Webster Groves Herb Society’s, Beth Mattingly and Barb Menshaw, join STL Live host, Ivy Hartman, to talk about the largest herb sale in the St. Louis Metro Area, and how it’s helping students stay in school. It’s the “Annual Spring Herb Plant Sale.” This event features over ten- thousand culinary, medicinal and ornamental herb plants, and your very own herb specialist. Check out their varieties of basil, lavender, and rosemary, thyme, sage, mint, and more. Personal herb shoppers can help you find what you need for a pizza garden, a kid’s garden, a Mediterranean or drought-tolerant garden… or any other specialty herb garden. Proceeds from the sale go into scholarships to fund students in herb-related study fields. It all takes place each year at the First Congressional Church of Webster Groves at Lockwood and Elm
