According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), approximately 1.6 million car accidents are caused annually by drivers using cell phones, texting, or simply due to driver error. At least 57% are caused by alcohol and impaired drivers. No matter what causes an accident, family members are left with ongoing issues and certainly heavy hearts.
