Shakespeare Festival:
The Shakespeare Festival St. Louis recently hosted its 3rd Annual Shakespeare in The Street. Director, Alec Wild, chats with host Sarah Thompson, about his play, “Good in Everything.” It’s inspired in part by the Clayton School District’s historic Voluntary Desegregation program, which began in 1983 and subsequently served as a model for suburban St. Louis school district. This group goes to different neighborhoods and talks about what’s important to them and what interests their community. Then they come up with a Shakespeare play that will resemble their description of their locale.
