Taylor Symone’ Harris is a media personality & journalist from Saint Louis, Missouri. Taylor accumulated a total 24 credit hours toward her undergraduate degree as a dual enrollment student at Lutheran High School North and Saint Louis University before she started her tenure at Hampton University.

Taylor is a proud graduate of Hampton University’s Scripps-Howard’s School of Journalism & Communications, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication with Marketing minor in Hampton, Virginia. She graduated Cum Laude and on the Dean’s List. During her collegiate tenure, Taylor was iHeartRadio’s Smooth 88.1 Radio Station news reporter, Hampton University’s WHOV TV newscast news anchor, Hampton University’s Hampton Script Newspaper’s multimedia specialist, and President of the Hampton University Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America. She is a 2019 Spring initiate of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.

Taylor has worked with BET Networks & Viacom, NBCUniversal, NASCAR’s Public Relations & Communications, Radio One Saint Louis’ Hot 104.1 & 95.5 FM radio station, & the AH! TV Network. In 2021, Taylor worked for Grammy award-winning record label, 300 Entertainment.

Taylor has made community service a priority in her life by staying involved in her community in Saint Louis. She is a member of the Saint Louis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, National Association of Black Journalists, Greater Saint Louis Association of Black Journalists, National Council of Negro Women Inc. Gateway Metropolitan Section, & Non-profit Marketers Network St. Louis. She lives by Shirley Chisholm’s quote, “Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth.”
