For the past year and a half, COVID-19 has wreaked havoc around the world. It has been extremely hard on the African American community right here in St. Louis, but one organization is doing something to make dealing with this pandemic a lot easier. STL TV’s Cassandra Walker Suggs interviews Rebeccah Bennett, the Managing Director of PrepareSTL, who in response to COVID-19’s impact on the African American community, set out on a mission. They have created an opportunity for people of color in St. Louis to recover and heal. PrepareSTL’s “Living Well Summit” will have in-person and online sessions from Thursday, July 15th through Sunday, July 18th to discuss topics such as joy, grief, and health and wellness. They will also go over coping mechanisms to improve the well-being of the African American community. For more information, visit www.PrepareSTL.com.
