Angela Hochman sits down with Erin Suelmann, executive director of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis, to discuss their organization and a new exhibition, Just As I Am: Portraits and Stories of People with Down Syndrome. This exhibition features portraits from photographer Randy Bacon, tells the stories of each individual, and is meant to help show that people with Down syndrome are human beings just like the rest of us. The goal of the DSAGSL is to serve, support, and celebrate the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through every stage of life. The exhibition is on display now through June 30th at 1300 Strassner Drive in Brentwood, MO.
