August 31st was International Overdose Awareness Day, a day to campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died from an overdose, and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind. St. Louis hosted an event in which organizations were able to meet with community members who needed help and save lives. Angela Hochman interviewed Heather Jenke from Epicc, Barbara McRoberts & Joe Foege from Center for Life Solutions, and Konjit Avent from The T, who were on hand to assist the public.
