This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Jefferson Bank demonstrations, a civil rights action taken by diverse members of the community to protest the lack of job opportunities for African Americans. Commemoration Committee members Percy Green, Bernice Thompson, and John Chasnoff, reflect on the importance of this demonstration to the St. Louis community and its lasting legacy, with City Corner Host Melanie Adams.
